German Cuisine- MEAT FEST !!

Hola , im just back from dinner with my brother, went to Weissbräu to have a try of their food. Its a German restaurant which located at Penang latest hotspot - Strait Quay. It remind me of Ingolf's Kneipe which is located at Tanjung Bungah.

Both of them serve german cuisine, but in a different environment and different price tag. So who will be the winner of my No.1 german restaurant? 

lets the battle begin !

Ingolf's Kneipe

This is mix grill ,( combination of grill lamb, grill pork ,grill different type german sausage ,grill bacon ,grill vege, and some grill meat loaf,together with some chips ) this is a small portion perfect for two.
i found the german sausage is a little bit salty, but the grill lamb is really yummy,tender enough.

THESE ! the spirit of german cuisine, its like our  soya sauce. it is  a MUST have in their food

Sauce : (left) it taste like concentrated mushroom soup
(right) the taste is much more stronger than the left one, and it have alooot of caramelized onion. highly recommened.
On your letf is Sauerkraut, it is a german tradisional food ,in mandarin call 德国酸菜
taste good too~

Beside, we also ordered a German Bucther's Plater which is cost around RM 50, portion for 3-4 person. Due to the YONG's family went there on Saturday , so we have no luck to try their famous Rosted Knuckles which is only available on every Wednesday.

Weissbräu German Bistro and Bar

Lots of liquor , wine and beer~ 

warm and cozy environment

Mushroom suop, finally i had found a mushroom soup that is taste similar to the MIZZ bistro's mushroom soup.But of course, MIzz is always my NO.1. 

Farmer meatloaf , side dish are smashed potatoes and Sauerkraut. The meatloaf is a little bit salty and the Sauerkraut is a little bit to dry for me. I guess is because they use turnip instead of cabbage. For the sauce , i think Ingolf's sauce taster better.
 

Forgot what it call , it salmon with white sauce and alot of black olive.as u can see from the photo.Side dish are Sauerkraut and ..err.i call it potatoes pancake.
This one taste good~ 

Weissbrau also serve yummy pizza.Which is totally different with the pizza in Domino/ Pizza Hut.Its more like Italian pizza. You guys should have try.

Overall, i think that Ingolf serve the best german cuisine. The sauces, grill meat , sauerkraut taste much more better than Weissbrau .And i cant wait to try their their roasted pork knuckles, mouth watering~~

A Saturday night in JULY ( part ii)

With Joyce again, we decided to go to UPR's Monkey Bar to have a drink and do some girl's talk~

but we were approached by 2 men which came form Norway,and they just grab their chair and sit with us~ my face was smiling to them but my heart was screaming, man! i was like, "hey, im not interested in you,can u please get out form my sight???"

 luckily it was few weeks before the Norway Killer news happened,if not, i will straight walk away from there. 

Thanks GOD that Joyce's friend Eugene came to help us ,

Eugene , whether u believe or not, i saw the HALO on ur head at the moment, i feel relief!

so , we went to MOIS for a while and switch to VOODOO

July-My month ( part i)

HOLA~
 fellow readers, im going to blog about my life in JULY( its going to be a long long post i ever had)
yes, is July, i know, i know, its middle of August now and now i here to blog about my life in July..
i have been really busy recently, just got a new job after my diploma * yeah! i had finished my diploma~hurray
and now my time is fully occupied by my job, which means i have lesser time to hang out with friends and also facing my lappie.but i will try my best to keep my blog up to date . i'll try~ 


do you still remember what you did in July?
July is always my Favorited month because my birthday drop on 1st of July.
and this year, i just have a simple dinner with all my pretty chicks~


1st JULY :


Went to VINTAGE BULGARIA RESTAURANT & BAR to have a delightful dinner with friends
that was my second time paid visit to this restaurant, it is located at Tanjung Bungah
a lot of food bloggers recommend this restaurant , well, the foods are really wont disappointed you especially the pork rib ! miss it !yum yum~


But i am such a 'big head prawn', everything were ready on my bigday and i was planing to take a tons of photo with my girls , who knows im the one ruined my own birthday

Argggghhh~ this really pissed me off. really spoiled my mood~

 the mushroom soup taste OKAY, not that creamy and rich compared to Mizz Bistro's one~ but it definitely  much more better than DELICIOUS!

but, i will give a big clap to the caesar salad , click "like"

ordered some cocktail cause we dont want to drink beer~

i'm a big fans of nacho! they do serve great nacho too~

forgot what it call ,it is fried bacon-wrapped goat cheese
fattening yet delicious! 

pork rib. it looks like a volcano and going to explode~
the rib is not over cook and it taste tender still , and it is marinate with their special ingredients.
 HIGHLY RECOMMEND  ! 

kind of grill chicken with some pepper and onion~taste good

forget about fork and knife,lets eat the pork ribs with fingers! 

we are trying to fix our big face into the small screen~

I really have fun with my girls , satisfied with the food too. 
im so damn miss the bacon right now, mouth watering~

great picked of venue, it is much more better than the last HENESSY which was located at Voodoo Penang.

i rarely fully tied up my hair go out,because i have a big square face~
but this time, i lazy to curl my hair plus i'm going to wear a jumpsuit
and i think jumpsuit with pony tail is a perfect match ever! this look bring a fresh and clean look for me~

Went to GP with Joyce, but i forgot what we did on that day?
 but i do remember she came to fetch me , and we went to Chicago rib house to have our lunch

Caesar salad~ totally ewww, the vege is not fresh enough and turn  yellowish as you can see it in the photo..

black pepper chicken breast , i personally not recommend 

well, their chicken breast and Caesar salad are not so good, maybe they served better pork ribs than other place? so call Chicago RIB house~must be pro in "handle" those pork ribs,perhaps i should try their pork ribs next time~
